Please note: the Nectar Small Business Awards 2010 are closed for any further entries. Visit these pages from end of August 2010 where you will be able to vote for the business that you think is the most deserving. The final winner will be announced later in the year.
The Nectar Business Small Business Awards 2010 are open to all UK Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and UK Social Enterprises.
The awards are completely free to enter and they aim to celebrate business success, recognise their dedication and hard work - especially in tough times - and highlight the wealth of fantastic business ideas that are out there.
If you have a business success story to tell, want to stand out from the competition, raise your profile in your local area and the credibility of being an award winning business then we want to hear from you.
Award categories
There are four award categories which companies can submit an application into:
- Small Business of the Year
- Entrepreneur of the Year
- Contribution to the Community Award (NEW)
- Online Business of the Year (NEW)
Four winning businesses will receive not only the recognition and kudos that comes with such an award but also a prize fund of:
- £2,000 cash
- £2,000 to spend at Viking Direct
- 50,000 Nectar points

Contribution to the Community Award
What's more, we are looking for you to help us decide who should win the Contribution to the Community Award. Visit nectar-business.com/sba2010 from 26th July and vote for the business that you think is the most deserving. We want to reward those businesses that have made a positive contribution to the communities they serve and champion companies with clear social objectives. If you want to find out how businesses up and down the country are making a positive impact on society or the environment then visit nectar-business.com/sba2010 from 26th July where five businesses, chosen by the judges will be short listed for their outstanding contributions to the communities they serve. You will have the opportunity to read their stories and vote for the one you believe should win. The winner will be announced the end of August.
