For being a loyal customer, and doing your bit for the environment, you can collect a great deal of Nectar points with EDF Energy the only energy supplier to offer Nectar points to its customers.

Once you've registered your Nectar card with EDF Energy, there are loads of ways to collect points with them:
Claiming points
New and existing customers can receive a 300 points claim bonus every year, here's how:
New customers will automatically receive their 300 points claim bonus after they register their Nectar card with EDF Energy.
Existing customers just need to tell EDF Energy they wish to claim their Nectar points once a year and will receive reminders when they need to claim for the following year.
Being loyal
You'll receive Nectar points just for being an EDF Energy customer. Earn 50 points per fuel, every quarter. That's up to 400 Nectar points a year for Dual Fuel customers.
Paying promptly
You can collect an additional 100 points per fuel, per quarter, just for paying your bills promptly. This includes paying by Direct Debit, Prepayment Meter or simply by paying within 10 days of receiving your bill. Over a year, a Dual Fuel customer can earn up to 800 Nectar points for paying promptly!
Becoming a Dual Fuel customer
200 extra Nectar points a year can also be collected by taking both your gas and electricity from EDF Energy. Not only could it make your life easier having one supplier for your energy, but it means you can earn almost double the amount of Nectar points available compared to EDF Energy's single fuel customers.
Joining the Read. Reduce. Reward. scheme
If you sign up to EDF Energy's award winning Read. Reduce. Reward scheme you can collect 250 Nectar points per fuel, per quarter, just by providing accurate meter readings online.
What's more, if you reduce your energy consumption from one year to the next, you can earn an additional 1,000 Nectar points per fuel. That's a grand total of up to 4,000 points a year!
Climate Balance
Help the environment and collect extra Nectar points by signing up to EDF Energy's Climate Balance Tariff. You can collect 100 Nectar points per fuel, per quarter as a Climate Balance customer and it works by helping you to offset the impact of the CO2 emissions that your household creates. This is done by supporting a wide range of sustainability projects around the world and can earn Dual Fuel customers an extra 800 points a year.

*To claim 5,000 bonus points customers must follow the link provided to agree a Dual Fuel contract and register their Nectar card with EDF Energy before the 31st of March 2010. Bonus points will be credited to customer's Nectar account within 28 days of the customer going live on supply with EDF Energy. Customers that have already entered into a Dual Fuel contract with EDF Energy are not eligible to receive these bonus points. Bonus points cannot be claimed in addition to bonus points offered by EDF Energy through any other promotion which provides for the provision of bonus points to customers that enter into contracts with EDF Energy for their energy supplies.
