How do I collect points with BP?
You can collect Nectar points at BP petrol stations when buying fuel, or on spend in the shop. Simply hand your Nectar card to the cashier at the till.
How many Nectar points can I collect?
You can collect 1 point per litre of fuel purchased, and 2 points per £1 spent in the shop.
Is there anything that I can't collect points on with BP?
Exclusions do apply on some items sold in the BP shop. See terms and conditions to find out more.
How long does it take to get my points?
Points will be credited within 28 days. If you're not sure whether your points have been credited yet, check your Nectar points statement. If 28 days have elapsed and you haven't received your points, we'd be happy to investigate: contact Nectar here.
How can I make sure I collect the maximum amount of Nectar points at BP?
Keep an eye out for bonus points promotions throughout the year, like BP Swipe to Win periods, where points prizes are up for grabs every time your Nectar card is swiped at BP.
Can I claim points if I don't have my Nectar card when I go to BP?
Yes, you can. If you've forgotten your Nectar card, just ask the cashier for an IOU voucher. Hand this voucher to the cashier on your next visit to a BP petrol station, along with your Nectar card. You can claim points within 6 months of receiving your BP IOU voucher.
Can I spend Nectar points at BP?

Standard Terms and Conditions
Points can be collected on fuel and shop spend. Nectar points cannot be earned on tobacco and related products, phone cards, baby milk, stamps, utility cards, e top-up, lottery and M&S branded goods. Nectar points can be collected on shop goods in the majority of BP sites - see in store for confirmation. Nectar points cannot be earned on Bunker fuel transactions.
