How do I collect points with Expedia?
You can collect Nectar points when you book a hotel or flight, or hire a car. You can also collect points when booking a package combining two or more of hotel, flight and car (must include air travel). Search for your perfect holiday at the top of the page, then follow the booking process and enter your Nectar card number when prompted.
How many Nectar points can I collect?
You can collect 200 points when booking a hotel, flight or car hire, and 1,000 points when booking a package. The number of points you will collect will be highlighted during the booking process on Expedia.co.uk.
Is there anything that I can't collect points on with Expedia?
Points can only be collected on hotel, flight, car and package bookings. Other Expedia products, such as activities, aren't eligible for Nectar points.
How long does it take to get my points?
Nectar points collected on Expedia bookings will appear in your account within 28 days from when you make your booking. If you're waiting for points to be credited, you can check your Nectar points statement. If 28 days has elapsed and you haven't received your points, we'd be happy to investigate: contact Nectar.
How can I make sure I collect the maximum amount of Nectar points?
Combining bookings to create your own Expedia package holiday will allow you to collect 1,000 points. Make sure to also keep an eye out for the regular bonus promotions too, such as DOUBLE and TRIPLE points.
Is there a limit to the amount of points I can collect with Expedia?
There is a limit on the amount of points per transaction, depending on whether you book a hotel, flight, car or package - however the number of transactions you can collect Nectar points on is unlimited.
What happens to my points if I cancel a booking?
Unfortunately, if you cancel a booking, you will lose the Nectar points collected.
What happens if I cancel part of a package booking?
The points you collect will depend on the type of package you have booked. If your package contains a hotel, flight and car booking and you cancel one element, you will still collect 1,000 points. However if your package was two out of hotel, flight and car and you cancel one, you will collect 200 points instead of 1,000.

Nectar Terms and Conditions
- Collect 200 points when you book a flight, hotel or car on Expedia.co.uk or 1,000 points when you book a package (tailor-made package including air travel i.e. flight+hotel, flight+car, flight+hotel+car) on Expedia.co.uk.
- You cannot collect Nectar points on any other activities or services.
- To receive points for a booking on Expedia.co.uk, simply submit a valid Nectar card number via the Expedia booking confirmation page.
- Points will be awarded within 28 days of booking.
- Expedia will deduct any points that have been granted for bookings that are subsequently cancelled. Furthermore, Nectar points will be deducted in cases where bookings are discovered to be fraudulent.
- Points cannot be earned on any element of a transaction which is paid for by redeeming points.
