Living a greener, more environmentally friendly life is still an important goal for many of us. At Nectar Green we've put together a few suggestions to help you make some small changes, which give you an opportunity to collect Nectar points along the way. It could be something as easy as fitting energy efficient light bulbs throughout the house, or drinking tap water from a reusable water bottle instead of buying numerous bottles of water.

More and more people are now re-using and recycling plastic bags to help reduce the impact on the environment. Follow the three golden rules below when shopping to help make a difference:

- Re-use Now collect Nectar points every time you re-use bags
- Recycle Last year Sainsbury's recycled over 150 million bags - do your bit and use the recycle bins in store to recycle yours
