• Kristin Davis date sells for £26,000

  

  A red carpet date with Sex and the City star Kristin Davis has fetched £26,000 in an eBay auction, it has emerged.

  The campaign is part of a charity drive in support of Oxfam America, Digital Spy reported.

  A number of other celebs have taken part in similar eBay auctions, including Colin Firth, Charlize Theron and Scarlett Johannson, who sold a trip to the July premiere of He's Just Not That Into You for £20,000 earlier this month.

  The winning bidder of the most recent auction will get to bring a friend along to the Sex and the City film premiere in New York City on May 27th.

  In addition to spending time with Kristin Davis - who resumes her TV role as Charlotte York-Goldenblatt on the big screen - on the red carpet, high bidder Superiorlotus912 will be treated to a new pair of Jimmy Choo shoes and a makeover.

  The Sex and the City film is set to reunite many of the original cast of the HBO TV series, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Chris Noth.
