• Nintendo 'to unveil new Wii game early'

  

  Nintendo is set to unveil its new Mario Kart Wii racer at a number of select Game stores in the UK, Digital Spy has reported,

  A number of Game outlets will participate in a nationwide tournament to play the game on April 5th - six days ahead of its official release on April 11th.

  The news source reported that a number of prizes will be on offer for Nintendo Wii fans who participate in the event. Prizewinners may be eligible to receive a Mario Kart VW Beetle convertible or up to £250 in experience vouchers, which could cover the cost of activities such as paintballing.

  Game stores in Reading, Manchester, Basingstoke, Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Cardiff, Wigan, London and Romford are among the 30 outlets participating in the event.

  In other video game news, a computer game based on the recent courtroom divorce battle between Paul McCartney and Heather Mills entitled Splash and Grab has been released online.

  As Heather Mills, players score points by throwing water at the ex-Beatle and his lawyer.
