  Play.com is selling the forthcoming James Bond novel by Sebastian Faulks at half price.

  Devil May Care is set during the Cold War and Faulks picks up where Ian Fleming left off in 1966 with The Living Daylights and Octopussy.

  Fans of the iconic spy have been told they can expect the usual glamour, thrills and excitement.

  Faulks whose previous novels include, Birdsong, Charlotte Gray and The Girl At The Lion D'Or, is widely regarded as one of the best novelists in Britain today.

  When asked about his new book, Faulks said: "My novel is meant to stand in the line of Fleming's own books where the story is everything."
