London Zoo in London's Regent Park is home to 750 species of animals including lions and lizards, monkeys and meerkats, birds and butterflys.
London Zoo is the world's oldest scientific zoo. It was opened in London on 27 April 1828 and was originally intended to be used as a collection for scientific study. It was eventually opened to the public in 1847.
Today it houses a collection of 755 species of animals, with 15,104 individuals, making it one of the largest collections in the United Kingdom.
The zoo is divided up into many different areas which are great fun to explore and help make it one of London's most popular tourist attractions.

Triple points terms and conditions
- The Nectar points promotion with London Zoo is open to all Nectar cardholders with a valid account.
- The standard points value is 2 points per £1 spent; the Triple points value is an additional 4 points per £1 spent.
- The Triple points promotion is valid on London Zoo qualifying purchases made online exclusively via Nectar from May 11, 2012 until June 5, 2012.
- The standard rate of Nectar points earned via Nectar with London Zoo will be issued to collector's account according to the standard terms and conditions. The additional 4 points per £1 spent earned in relation to this promotion will be awarded separately 35 days after despatch unless otherwise specified in the standard terms and conditions.
- Any transaction that is completed offline will not be eligible for this offer.
- Offer cannot be exchanged for cash or used with any other offer, promotion or coupon. Offer is not transferable.
Nectar points are awarded on qualifying transactions completed online on the retailer’s site, only when accessed exclusively from Nectar.com. Unless specified otherwise, points will be awarded within 35 days of delivery.
