Nectar Millionaire competition Terms & Conditions

1. The prize draw is open to UK residents only, aged 18 and over who are registered with Nectar, with the exception of employees of the Promoters (defined below) unless it applies to an internal colleague promotion, or anyone else associated with the administration of this prize draw.
2. To enter fill up at least 5 litres of fuel or spend a minimum of £5 in the shop at any participating Esso branded sites and use Nectar in a single transaction for automatic entry into the prize draw (‘Qualifying Purchase’). Customers must scan their Nectar card at the time of payment. Alternatively, a customer can pay for their Qualifying Purchase using the Esso App. For Esso App purchases, the Nectar card must be added to the Esso App account prior to the transaction. Transactions using Key Fuels, UK Fuels bunker card(s), Esso Card, Esso Commercial Vehicle Card, EuroShell, DKV and Allstar BP Supercharge are not Qualifying Purchases and are not eligible for this prize draw. Participating Esso branded sites are those  that accept the Nectar card in the UK, and exclude Northern Ireland and Tesco branded Esso sites. 3. The promotion opens at 00:00 23/07/2026 and closes at 23:59 on 16/09/2026.
4. Each Qualifying Purchase for the duration of the prize draw is an Entry. No Entries from agents, third parties or organised groups will be accepted. No bulk Entries.
5. There are eight (8) prizes of 1 million Nectar points each to win (each a “Prize”). No Nectar card primary account holder may win more than one Prize.
6. Where it is a skills-based competition at least one judge shall be independent. The judges’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. If the prize is not judged then the winners will be drawn at random during the week commencing two weeks following the promotion end date under independent supervision. Nectar points will be automatically allocated to the winner within 28 days of the close of the promotion. If you do not wish to receive a prize please contact us on 0344 811 0811.
7. The Promoters’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. Where the promotion is run via social media including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok then the promotion is no way affiliated with such social media platforms.
8. Nectar is responsible for the personal data processing necessary to operate the prize draw (e.g. review of transaction data to collate entrants, application of eligibility requirements, randomly allocating prize winners from entrants and subsequent notification) and shall be the primary contact for data subjects and the Information Commissioner’s Office. 9. The Promoters are not responsible or liable for any Entries that are lost or delayed or cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason due to faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this promotion causing delays or disruption. Proof of posting or attempted communication or entry will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
10. There is no alternative to the Prize or any cash substitute. The Prize is non-transferable. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute the Prize for one of greater or equal value.
11. Winners may be requested to participate in any reasonable publicity when asked by the Promoters and shall not receive payment for such publicity. You may opt-out of publicity. By entering this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions governing this promotion and by any other requirements set out in related promotional materials.
12. The name and county of the Prize winners can be obtained by writing to the Promoter at the address below within 3 months of the promotion close date. If you do not want your surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above, you must notify the Promoter within a reasonable period of time before the closing date of the promotion. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.
13. If you would like a written copy of these Terms and Conditions, please write to the Promoter providing your address and contact details.
14. The Promoters reserve the right to vary the Terms and Conditions or cancel the draw at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond their reasonable control. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of these Terms and Conditions will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.

Esso Nectar Terms & Conditions:

1. You must present your Nectar card at the time of your purchase at participating Esso branded service stations to qualify for any Nectar points or have previously added your Nectar card details to your Esso App account. Nectar points cannot be awarded retrospectively.

1. Nectar collectors can earn 1 point per litre of Esso Synergy™ fuel or 2 points per pound spent on carwash, lubricants or shop products at participating Esso branded service stations.
2. Points collected at participating Esso branded service stations will be credited to your Nectar account by Nectar Loyalty Ltd and included in your statement for redemption via existing Nectar redemption options.
3. Transactions using Key Fuels or UK Fuels bunker card(s) are not eligible for Nectar points.
4. Nectar points issued on all transactions are capped at 100 points for unleaded and 250 points for diesel purchases and £200 for spend in shop.
5. The issuance of Nectar points is limited to three (3) transactions a day (24 hour period) and a total of fifteen (15) transactions a week (7 day rolling period). Restrictions may be placed on the issuance of Nectar points at participating Esso branded service stations. Esso may not issue Nectar points on transactions it considers to be above reasonable use or where it suspects fraudulent activity without any notice. Esso’s decision on these circumstances is final.
6. Esso reserves the right to cancel, terminate, suspend or change the ability to earn or spend Nectar points at Esso branded service stations without notice (including, but not limited to suspension arising out of non-availability of the App or technical failure generally or at a particular Esso branded service station). Esso shall not be responsible for any losses suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination, suspension or change in the availability of the Nectar scheme at Esso branded service stations

Terms and Conditions

1. Nectar points can be spent at participating Esso branded service stations only. Please see details of participating Esso branded service stations here. Nectar points cannot be spent at Esso branded service stations with a Tesco Express shop.

2. Nectar collectors can receive a 5 pence per litre discount of Esso Synergy™ fuel for 300 Nectar points, with a minimum fill size of 10 litres at participating Esso branded service stations. Discount applies on the first 60 litres only. Nectar points cannot be spent on non-fuel purchases.

3. You must present your Nectar card or Nectar key tag at the time of your purchase at participating Esso branded service stations to receive a redemption option or have previously added your Nectar card details to your Esso App account. Nectar points cannot be spent retrospectively.

4. Transactions using Key Fuels, UK Fuels bunker card(s), Esso Card, Esso Commercial Vehicle Card, EuroShell, DKV and Allstar BP Supercharge are not eligible for the Nectar redemption option.

5. Nectar points cannot be spent on LPG purchases.

6. These terms and conditions may be amended, varied and/or supplemented by Esso Petroleum Company Limited ("Esso") at any time in its absolute discretion and without prior notice.

7. General Nectar terms and conditions (and the Nectar privacy policy) apply to the use of Nectar card and collection or redemption of Nectar points and can be found at: https://www.nectar.com/about/privacy-and-legal/terms-of-use.

8.
