Nectar Issuance Terms and Conditions

  1. You must present your Nectar card or Nectar key tag at the time of your purchase at participating Esso branded service stations to qualify for any Nectar points or have previously added your Nectar card details to your Esso App account. Nectar points cannot be awarded retrospectively.
  2. Nectar collectors can earn 1 point per litre of Esso Synergy™ fuel or 2 points per pound spent on carwash, lubricants or shop products at participating Esso branded service stations.
  3. Points collected at participating Esso branded service stations will be credited to your Nectar account by Nectar Loyalty Ltd and included in your statement for redemption via existing Nectar redemption options.
  4. Transactions using Key Fuels or UK Fuels bunker card(s) are not eligible for Nectar points.
  5. Nectar points issued on all transactions are capped at 100 points for unleaded and 250 points for diesel purchases and £200 for spend in shop.
  6. Esso reserves the right to cancel, terminate, suspend or change the ability to earn or spend Nectar points at Esso branded service stations without notice (including, but not limited to suspension arising out of non-availability of the App or technical failure generally or at a particular Esso branded service station). Esso shall not be responsible for any losses suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination, suspension or change in the availability of the Nectar scheme at Esso branded service stations.

Nectar Redemption Terms & Conditions

  • Nectar points can be spent at participating Esso branded service stations only. Please see details of participating Esso branded service stations here. Nectar points cannot be spent at Esso branded service stations with a Tesco Express shop.   
  • Nectar collectors can receive a 5 pence per litre discount of Esso Synergy™ fuel for 300 Nectar points, with a minimum fill size of 10 litres at participating Esso branded service stations. Discount applies on the first 60 litres only. Nectar points cannot be spent on non-fuel purchases.   
  • You must present your Nectar card or Nectar key tag at the time of your purchase at participating Esso branded service stations to receive a redemption option or have previously added your Nectar card details to your Esso App account. Nectar points cannot be spent retrospectively.   
  • Transactions using Key Fuels, UK Fuels bunker card(s), Esso Card, Esso Commercial Vehicle Card, EuroShell, DKV and Allstar BP Supercharge are not eligible for the Nectar redemption option.   
  • Nectar points cannot be spent on LPG purchases.   
  • These terms and conditions may be amended, varied and/or supplemented by Esso Petroleum Company Limited (“Esso”) at any time in its absolute discretion and without prior notice.

E-bikes Campaign Terms & Conditions

  1. This promotion is open to all Nectar card holders resident in the United Kingdom who make a  Qualifying Purchase between 00.01 on 6 June 2024 and 23:59 on 26 September 2024. 
  2. To enter the promotion; you must buy no less than 1L of fuel (or the minimum delivery amount) at a participating Esso site (excluding Northern Ireland or Tesco branded Esso sites). 

You can either:

  1. pay for your purchase and swipe your Nectar card at checkout (your Nectar card needs to be registered and with a current email address), or
  2. pay for your purchase using the Esso App at Esso sites participating in the Nectar scheme.  For Esso App purchases your Nectar card must be added to the Esso App account prior to the transaction. (“Qualifying Purchase ”). 
  1.  There are 112 prizes available comprising of an e-bike plus 5,000 bonus Nectar loyalty points. Prizes will only be awarded to the registered account holder of the Nectar card presented or linked at the time of the Qualifying Purchase. 
  2. Winners will be chosen by computer algorithm. Winners will automatically be allocated the 5,000 bonus Nectar points within 48 hours of being chosen as a winner and will then be notified of how to claim their e-bike prize via a winner’s email within 21 days of the Qualifying Purchase.
  3. To receive the e-bike prize, winners’ will have to claim their e-bike by clicking through on the link in the winners email referred to above, and enter their details [name and address]. Those details will then be shared with Esso’s 3rd Party for prize fulfilment only. If the winner has not provided their details to claim their e-bike within four weeks of the winners email referred to above being sent, the prize will be deemed to have been forfeited and the Promoter may use the prize for other purposes at their discretion. 
  4. Once the winner has claimed the e-bike following the instructions above, the e-bike will be sent out to that winner within 60 days.
  5. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash or prize alternatives available. Your statutory rights are not affected. 
  6. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value. 
  7. The Promoter will not publish any personal information about the winners.
  8. The Promoter shall be responsible and liable for providing the e-bike prizes (or alternative).
  9. Participants in this promotion should ensure that their Nectar card is registered and includes current Email address details prior to making a Qualifying Purchase.   
  10. One entry per Qualifying Purchase. 
  11. Acceptance  of  these  terms  and  conditions  is  a  condition  of  entry.

  13. The  Promoter’s  decision  is  binding  and  final  on  all  matters  relating  to  this  promotion  and  no  correspondence  will  be  entered  into.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or change the promotion at any stage where it becomes necessary to do so (including, but not limited to suspension arising out of non-availability of the Esso App or technical failure  generally or at a particular site). For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by the Promoter of this promotion shall not entitle an entrant to any claim or compensation from the Promoter or any ExxonMobil group companies for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred by an entrant as a direct or indirect result.
  16. The Promoter will be disclosing personal information to 3rd parties to assist in their promotional activities.
